Chemicals are used in various sectors and processes, such as water treatment, food, cleaning agents and other industrial applications.
Special systems are required for the safe storage, transport and dosing of these chemicals. Mosman supplies these systems in accordance with the applicable BRL SIKB 7800 guidelines. This means that an installation certificate must be issued for the chemical installation. Mosman is BRL SIKB 7800 certified and is therefore allowed to print the final installation certificate in-house.
Mosman’s engineers have years of experience in working with this type of installation. They are all trained according to the latest technology and applicable guidelines and regulations.
Chemical installations consist of the following sub-components:
- filling stations with or without filling pump;
- single or double-walled filling, suction and dosing lines;
storage tanks, both thermoplastic and GRP tanks with or without lining; - level measurements such as radar, ultrasonic, capacitive, bistable contacts;
- dosing cabinets for all necessary equipment for pumping, flushing, testing and protection;
- injection cabinets with all accessories for safe and accurate dosing;
- necessary extraction systems;
- necessary safety equipment such as emergency showers and PPE.

Chemical installations work, as the name implies, with chemicals. These chemicals are often harmful to humans and the environment. That is why it is extremely important that chemicals are used safely, but that the installation that carries them is also safe.
